We have been getting wintry mix after wintry mix and this morning is no different.
Fortunately for commuters, the rain and snow arrived a little later this morning between 8am and 9am. A wintry mix of sleet and snow is coming down in Frederick and Carroll counties. East of Frederick and Carroll it is mainly rain but there is the possibility that sleet is mixing in at times.
Colder air is poised to funnel in once the cold front moves through this evening. Expect blustery conditions tonight and tomorrow as a westerly wind gusts up to 40 mph. Also, the wet roads could freeze, so watch out for slick spots tomorrow morning.
Another round of wintry weather is in the works for Friday into the weekend. Stay Tuned!
