The tropics remain active with another named storm in the works. Tropical storm Harvey is a healthy tropical storm, moving towards the Caribbean at 18 mph. The Lesser Antilles will be the first areas to be impacted over the next 24 hours.
Currently this is the only named stormed but three additional tropical waves are churning and could become storms in the coming days. The 2017 hurricane season is at a pace similar to the 1936, 2005 & 2012 seasons, where eight named storms occurred before August 17th.
