I just had a chance to visit with an awesome group of local students.
In fact they completed their weather unit just a little earlier this Autumn, so it was a "breeze" talking meteorology with Ms. Di Biase's 5th Grade Class at Atholton Adventist Academy in Columbia!
"Are you smarter than a 5th grader?" As much as I'd like to think so, I can't be sure after meeting with this razor sharp group!
We had a great time talking about the many extremes of Maryland weather, from the current unseasonably warm El Nino pattern, to tornadoes, lightning, Superstorm Sandy, and everything in between.
By the end all I could think was "great job guys!"
