Officials in Queen Anne's County are suggesting some residents evacuate now

Those in flood-prone or low-lying areas

CENTREVILLE, Md. -

Officials in Queen Anne's County say residents who live in flood-prone or low-lying areas should consider evacuating.

There's no mandatory evacuation order, but the county says some residents should think about a voluntary evacuation.

Those choosing to ride out the storm at home are urged to stock up on fresh water, food, medications and batteries.

The westbound U.S. 50 bridge over us 301 in Queenstown, Md., is down to one lane due to construction - avoid that route.

Half of the bridge is demolished to be rebuilt this winter, so there is no way we can quickly open up a lane. Backups were bad in September with shore events and this may be worse.
