Rainy and humid days can change the amount of allergens in the atmosphere in various ways. Moisture can lead to mold growth both indoors and outdoors and if you're allergic to dust mites, they too, can thrive in humid air.

Now if pollen causes you grief, damp or humid days can be good for you. The increased moisture/humidity can weigh down the pollen preventing it from flowing through the air - while rain can remove it all together.

**Listed below are some tools to track humidity & chances of rain in the coming days.

Muggy Meter - Measures the dew points in the coming days. The dew point is a direct measurement of moisture in the atmosphere. Basically the higher the dew point the higher the humidity or "muggy" feel to the day. A dew point temperature of 50° or less is considered dry & comfy, while 62°+ is considered humid. If we have dew points over 70° that's considered very humid & oppressive.
