FORECAST: Heat Builds Slightly, Watching TD #8

Much of the heat will hold thru early week -

BALTIMORE -
Much of the heat will hold thru early week, however, we will get a *slight break on Tuesday into Wednesday, as some slightly milder air sweeps into Maryland.

However, the heat won't truly break until we get a more powerful front blasting into Maryland late Wednesday into Thursday.

Also of interest, we are carefully watching Tropical Depression #8, just off the coast off eastern North Carolina, as it may well strengthen to a tropical storm in the next 24-48 hours.  However, the same front that will bring Maryland relief from the heat mid-week, should also easily push this feature out to sea.

As always, stay tuned!
