The 142nd Preakness Stakes will shut down several roads and cause heavy traffic delays near Pimlico Race Course in northwest Baltimore.
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation urges patrons attending the event to carpool or use public transportation.
Attendees are also encouraged to park in commercial lots and avoid parking in area neighborhoods.
The following traffic patterns and road closures will be implemented.
