One person was struck and killed by a car early Tuesday in Woodlawn, according to Baltimore County Police.
It happened just before 5:30 a.m. on Security Boulevard near the Social Security Administration building.
A 43-year-old man was walking across Security Blvd. when he was struck by a Suburban driven by 50-year-old Brian Bratten of Damascus who was traveling westbound.
After the man was hit by the Suburban, he was struck again by an unknown vehicle that continued driving after the man was hit. Police believe that the second driver was unaware they had hit the pedestrian.
The section of Security Blvd. that the pedestrian was crossing does not have any street lights, and the man was wearing dark colored clothing.
The name of the man has not yet been released.
