Family of foxes rescued by Humane Wildlife Services before home demolished

One homeowner learned that you should check for living creatures before tearing down a shed.

A family of foxes was living underneath the floorboards of a shed in the backyard.

The residents had planned to take down the old shed until the found the family of eight. Then they decided to figure out a way to keep the family safe before tearing down their temporary home.

Humane Wildlife Services took the job and pulled each of the floorboards up to collect the 5-week-old babies. While mom watched nearby, the group took the little kits and put them in a box so their mother could easily find them.

After they left the area, the mother fox came back to collect her babies and nudged them on their way towards a new home.
