Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Zach Orr is coming out of retirement, NFL officials confirmed Wednesday.
Orr announced on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football" that he received encouraging diagnoses about his career-ending spinal condition, according to a report on NFL.com.

The report said that doctors, "told Orr he was at risk of death or paralysis by playing with the condition, which he's had since birth."
Ravens general manager and executive vice president Ozzie Newsome released the following statement about the announcement:
“I spoke with Zach [Orr] yesterday, and he informed me that he would like to continue to play football. He is a free agent.”
