Ravens showing support for the Orioles

The excitement of the Orioles' playoff push can be seen in the Ravens' locker room.

According to BaltimoreRavens.com writer Ryan Mink , Ravens players Ed Reed, Anquan Boldin, Art Jones and head coach John Harbaugh are showing their support for the Baltimore Orioles.

In a recent interview, Ed Reed said his Orioles hat was sitting on top of his football in his kitchen. It's a hat he's often been spotted wearing in recent weeks.

Boldin was sporting his Orioles hat when he was introduced on Sunday Night Football in the game against New England.

Coach Harbaugh encourages the support of the team that plays across the yard. He says the Ravens are big fans of the Orioles, and they are cheering them on in the pennant race.

"...I think the world of that team," Haurbaugh told Mink. "Love Buck, I call him coach. ...I think he does a great job. they play fundamentally sound baseball."

It's a love affair that goes both ways. Orioles players have often been seen covered in purple, head-to-toe. Players of the two teams have also shown support for each other on Twitter.

Ravens center Matt Birk says the support and Orioles' race for the pennant is bringing more excitement to Baltimore.

"I think it's fun," Birk said. "It just give more energy to the city, brings people together."
