BALTIMORE - A Baltimore Raven is giving back to the community.
Cornerback Lardarius Webb's foundation is partnering with the United Way for a charity softball game. The star-filled event supports the Boys and Girls Club of Baltimore.
“It’s great, man. They love doing off-the-field work," Webb said of his teammates. "There are great guys in that locker room. The Ravens do a great job of recruiting and drafting great guys who love to help, love to help kids.”
Webb said he loves hosting this annual game because all the money raised stays local by going to the kids in Baltimore. The fifth annual softball game is set for June 1 at M&T Bank Stadium.
The two teams are made up of the Ravens offense versus the Ravens defense.
