One group is doing its part to make sure what lives in the Chesapeake Bay stays there for a long time.
The Coastal Conservation Association of Maryland's Central Chapter, or CCA, was out near Tilghman Island this week putting oyster reef balls in the bay to encourage the production of more wildlife.

It's a promise for the future that has really caught on for people like J.R. Whitsel.
"Trying to save the bay. I just, it came about started hanging out with Rick [Eylar] and the CCA guys and the next thing you know, I'm taking vacation to come out here and help load reef balls and take them out and put them back in the bay," Whitsel said.
The Central Maryland CCA was started by Rick Eylar and his fishing buddy Mike Wissel.
