One of the best high school wrestlers in our state is missing out of a national tournament.
St. Paul's Kurt McHenry will miss National Preps after he was disqualified from the Maryland Independent State Tournament.
Near the end of the 106lbs State Finals, the match featuring McHenry and a wrestler from Mount St. Joseph became tense. The wrestlers went out of bounds and McHenry appears to head butt his opponent.
Mount St. Joseph's coach didn't shake McHenry's hand after the match.
McHenry was undefeated this year with a record of 55-0. He was expected to be a number one seed in the upcoming tournament.
