Former Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Raven Torrey Smith officially welcomed a new addition to his family this week.
Smith's wife Chanel gave birth to baby boy Wednesday morning.
Kameron James Smith, who they've referred to as "Kam, Kam" and "lil man" on social media, is the couple's second child. Torrey "TJ" Smith was born in 2014.
The road to delivery was not an easy one for the Smith family after doctors told them that their second child may be born with Trisomy 18. Like Down Syndrome, Trisomy 18 is also caused by an extra chromosome, but the condition comes with more potentially life-threatening complications, according to the Trisomy 18 Foundation.
