Baltimore Ravens rookies visited the Helping Up Mission Monday to visit with and serve lunch to residents of the homeless shelter.

The rookies served at the Helping Up Mission as a part of the team’s rookie orientation program. The Helping Up Mission aims to “set men free” from chronic conditions like drug or alcohol addiction, poverty and homelessness.

The group’s website says its approach is “holistic in nature,” providing for their clients’ physical needs like food, clothing and shelter, while also providing for their physical and mental health needs, educational and vocational needs, all built on a spiritual foundation.

You can learn more about the organization on their website.
