Ravens running back Ray Rice apologized publicly for the second time Thursday for a domestic violence incident that earned him a suspension for the first two games of the NFL season.
"My daughter's two years old now, you know I have a little girl who's very smart, very intelligent and one day she's going to know the power of Google," Rice said.
He said the pain of knowing he will have to explain to his daughter what happened between him and his now wife Janay Palmer is something he confronts every day.
Rice was approved for the Pre-Trial Intervention program of New Jersey in May after assault charges were filed against Rice in connection with an altercation with his then-girlfriend Palmer in Atlantic City.
The incident is something Rice says has never happened before or since.
He was suspended for the first two games of the NFL season.
