OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Ravens busy offseason continues.
The team announced it has come to terms on one-year contracts with tight end Owen Daniels and running back Justin Forsett.
Daniels, 31, comes to Baltimore after spending eight seasons with the Houston Texans. The 2006 fourth-round draft choice out of Wisconsin has 385 receptions for 4,617 yards and 29 touchdowns in his career. Since he entered the league Daniels has produced the NFL’s eighth-most catches and the seventh-most receiving yards among NFL tight ends.
Forsett, 28, is a six-year NFL veteran who has appeared in 87 career games with four different teams.
The 5-foot-8, 194-pound Forsett has played with Seattle (2008-11), Indianapolis (2008), Houston (2012) and Jacksonville (2013), recording 347 carries for 1,692 yards (4.9 avg.) and eight touchdowns.
Forsett’s best season came in 2009 with the Seahawks when he posted 114 rushes for 619 yards and four touchdowns, adding 41 receptions for 350 yards and one score.
