Ravens sign safety facing six-game suspension

BALTIMORE - The Baltimore Ravens have announced the signing of three-year veteran safety, Will Hill.

Hill, 24, started nine games last season for the New York Giants, splitting time between cornerback and free safety.  He finished the 2013 season with 77 tackles, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and one touchdown.

He is currently suspended for the first six games of the 2014 season due to the NFL's substance abuse policy.

The third-year safety was a member of the 2009 Florida Gators National Championship winning team.  He went undrafted and played the 2010 season in the Arena Football League before signing with the Giants.
