Ravens place CB Webb on Injured Reserve

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Lardarius Webb was Wednesday placed on injured reserve by the Ravens, formally ending his season after he blew out his anterior cruciate ligament in Baltimore's 31-29 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Taking Webb's place on the Ravens 53-man roster is rookie running back Bobby Rainey.

Webb, a four-year veteran, recorded one interception and 25 tackles in six games this season. He injured his left ligament in the first quarter against Dallas. Webb suffered the same injury to his right leg in his rookie year.

Rainey, a rookie free agent from Western Kentucky, rushed 23 times for 55 yards in the Ravens' four preseason games, adding a team-high 14 catches for 163 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
