Still in first place in the AFC’s north division and the 2016 Ravens have never felt better.  You can’t fault the team for thoroughly enjoying this victory Monday following their downright dominating and most complete victory of the season, Sunday’s 38-6 win over the Miami Dolphins. John Harbaugh had plenty of positives Monday after looking at the game film.

“We were chasing that kind of precision,” said Harbaugh.  “Not just to see it but to see it consistently, from the beginning of the game to the end of the game, was something that’s been in our vision here for a while.  To see it happen was really good.”

As for Joe Cool, he was anything but on Sunday.  Flacco was on fire facing the fish. He completed a franchise record 36 passes. Four of them went for touchdowns.

“Joe played just extremely well. I thought all the guys around him played extremely well around him too.  It came together yesterday,” said Harbaugh.

The players in front of Flacco finally have a benchmark for how well this offense can play.  So said veteran pro bowl offensive lineman Marshal Yanda in Sunday’s postgame locker room.

“That potential, we showed it today. It was out there. We put it together,” said Yanda. “Obviously, it’s not like ‘we’re gonna get there, we’re gonna get there’.  We saw it show up big time today.  We just need to try to be consistent.”

The Ravens now get ready to face what should be their toughest opponent over these final four games of the season, the 10-2 New England Patriots. That game is in Foxboro on Monday Dec. 12.

Said Harbaugh:  “I’m excited to be playing them right now when it counts the most.”
