The Baltimore Ravens selected Alabama cornerback Marlon Humphrey at the NFL Draft Thursday night in Philadelphia.
The Ravens chose Humphrey with the 16th overall pick in the first round.
Humphrey stands 6-feet. He weighs 197 lbs.
"It was an opportunity for us to continue to put some strength into our secondary, to get stronger. Now that we feel like we have four really good corners with Brandon (Carr), Jimmy (Smith) and Tavon (Young) along with Marlon. He's got great size, really long arms and he can run," said Ravens General Manager Ozzie Newsome.
Baltimore has six more draft picks to use before the draft ends on Saturday.
The Ravens 2017 draft picks include:
- 1st round, 16th overall (Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama)
- 2nd round, 47th overall
- 3rd round, 74th overall (from Philadelphia in exchange for Timmy Jernigan & 99th overall pick)
- 3rd round, 78th overall
- 4th round, 122nd overall
- 5th round, 159th overall
- 6th round, 186th overall
Rounds two and three of the NFL Draft will be held Friday night. Rounds 4-7 will happen on Saturday.
