Ravens announce signing of Huff

The Baltimore Ravens have officially announced the signing of free agent safety Michael Huff.A press conference will take place at 1 p.m.

Huff played in 16 games last season for the Oakland Raiders, where he began his career in 2006. He had a total of 56 tackles and two interceptions in the 2012 season.

Huff's addition to the team is expected to fill the void left by the release of Bernard Pollard and Ed Reed.

The Raiders drafted Huff in 2005 out of the University of Texas. In 2005 he became the first player in school history to be recognized as the NCAA's top defensive back.
