Pagano latest to excel as Ravens D-coordinator

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) - Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano has built an aggressive unit that reflects everything he's learned over a 27-year career as an assistant coach.

Baltimore ranks third in the NFL in total defense, leads the AFC in sacks and is tied for third overall in point allowed.

But the Ravens are coming off a 34-14 loss to San Diego, a game in which the Chargers scored on their first five possessions and never punted. So Pagano is spending this week coercing the players into bouncing back from their miserable performance.

He says, "We know we've got to get over it and move on."

Pagano expects to see far more from his players Saturday when the Ravens (10-4) host the Cleveland Browns (4-10) in an AFC North matchup.
