BALTIMORE - Super Bowl champion, Joe Flacco is adding actor to his resume.
He will portray the legendary Johnny Unitas in the upcoming film "Unitas we Stand."
Joe Unitas, Johnny Unitas' son, says that Flacco will portray his hall of fame father in scenes from the 1958 NFL Championship Game, or "the greatest game ever played."
Filming will take place this summer and will not interfere with Flacco's availability for the start of training camp.
"I'm excited and honored by the opportunity to play Jonny Unitas," Flacco said in a statement. The movie is expected to hit theaters next year.
