The No. 2 Maryland men's basketball team hosts Wisconsin Saturday in a Big Ten showdown.

With Tuesday's victory against Bowie State, the Terps are now on a 27-game win streak, which marks a program high. Maryland began its last 26 game winning streak in February of 1979.

Maryland leads the nation with most wins, 26. They're one of only three teams to be ranked in the Top 10 all season long (Oklahoma, Kansas).

The Terps are off to one of the best starts in program history. Maryland is one of one two teams to have all five starters notch at least one double-double this season. The team has boasted a program-high 11 double-doubles.

Senior guard Rasheed Suliamon has scored in double digits in four of the last five games. Sophomore guard Melo Trimble leads the Terps in scoring (14.4 ppg), assists (5.5 ppg), free throw percentage (.872) and steals (31). He's scored 20 or more points in eight games this season, including 23 at then No. 9 North Carolina and 24 and then. No. 10 Michigan State.

The Terps will need all the stops Saturday when Wisconsin comes to town. Wisconsin is on a six-game win stream after defeating Nebraska at home. Nigel Hayes and Vitto Brown led the Badgers offensively with 20 and 18 points, respectively.

Maryland trails the all-time series, 5-4, but have won two straight. Trimble hit a three-pointer with time expiring to lead the Terps to a 63-60 win on Jan. 9 in Wisconsin.

Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the XFINITY Center in College Park, Md. Click here for live coverage.
