The Dunbar High School and Baltimore Polytechnic Institute boys basketball teams are among those who advanced in the state playoffs Tuesday night.
The visiting Poets edged Lake Clifton 51-46 in the 2A North Section I Semifinal. Dunbar advances to the regional semifinal. They will visit Patterson on Thursday.
Host Poly cruised past Franklin 86-43 in the 3A North Section I Semifinal.
De'Vondre Perry scored 21 points for the Engineers.
Poly will host Woodlawn on Thursday.
