The Baltimore Orioles won their spring training opener on Friday, 2-0 over the Detroit Tigers.
Seven O's pitchers combined to allow only four hits.
Righty Tyler Wilson started the game and went two hitless innings, tossing one strikeout.
As far as the Orioles scoring was concerned: Ryan Flaherty lifted a sacrifice fly to left field in the top of the second to score Logan Schafer. Tigers second baseman Juan Perez followed with a fielding error to allow Chris Dickerson to score in the top of the fifth.
Baltimore second baseman Johnny Giavotella went 3-3.
The O's travel to Bradenton, Fla. on Saturday to play the Pirates.
