HOUSTON - The Baltimore Orioles lost to the Houston Astros for the second straight game Friday night by a score of 2-1.
Miguel Gonzalez carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning, however, in the seventh, the Astros tacked two runs on with consecutive doubles.
The Orioles scored their only run in the second inning when J.J. Hardy singled in Adam Jones from second, who doubled earlier in the inning.
With the loss, the Orioles have dropped four consecutive games, having scored just 5 runs in the last 29 innings.
They now sit one game below .500 (26-27), and 4.5 games back of Toronto for the division lead.
They will face Houston twice more this weekend before traveling to Arlington to face the Rangers.
