First baseman Chris Davis has been named the American League Player of the Week.
Davis batted .386 with five runs scored, five home runs, a double and 10 RBI over six games. This is his fourth career AL Player of the Week title.
In Thursday's series-opening game against the Toronto Blue Jays, Davis went 2-for-3 with three RBI, including the game-tying home run in the seventh inning. The two-run homer extended his home run streak to five games.
He also delivered the game-winning sacrifice fly in the ninth inning to secure the Orioles' win.
