Baltimore native and track star Latosha Wallace is heading to the Olympic trials in Oregon.

Wallace, 31, doesn't have sponsors, so she is funding her dreams herself, though supporters are encouraging her to set up a GoFundMe page. She competes in the 400-meter hurdles, and her medals have piled up over the years.

"When I'm on the track, I'm facing myself. My biggest fear is myself, how great I can actually be, being from Baltimore, being a girl, being African-American," Wallace said. "When I'm out on a track, this is my heaven and earth."
