How to register to use ABC2's closing alert system

Anyone using ABC2’s alert system to make closing announcements for schools, churches or businesses must be registered in our system.

If you have not registered with ABC2 News, please follow these two simple steps:
 
1. Send an email to newsroom@wmar.com (Include point of contact, school or business name & location, and website.)

2. Include social media links within the email for closing verification (i.e. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram account so that we can use it for additional information in the event of a closing.)

After the assignment desk has received the required information, we will then respond promptly via email and generate a unique user id and passcode with directions.
