A high school in Florida is looking to discipline students who wore Ku Klux Klan costumes to school.

The students wore white sheets with eyes cut out and pointed hoods. At first, reports indicated they were ghost costumes as part of the school's spirit week, but pictures on social media showed a different account.

"Usually ghosts don't have pointed hats," school superintendent Kurt Browning said.

A parent said there has been racial tension in the community recently.

The school district said the three students involved are minorities. The district won't say how the students will be punished.
