D.C. and Baltimore make list of 50 fittest cities

WASHINGTON D.C. - If you're serious about your health or getting in shape - head to the nation's capitol.

Washington D.C was ranked number one when it comes to fit, healthy living by the American College of Sports Medicine.

Previous three-time winner Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota dropped to second place.

Baltimore came in 25th place, while Memphis, Tennessee ranked last.

The study looked at the nation's 50 largest metropolitan areas and compared several factors, including: preventative health behaviors and amenities that support physical activity and healthy living.
