Two SEPTA police officers in Philadelphia saved a woman's life not once, but two times within an hour.

WPVI reports that officers Kevin Dougherty and Shakeena Watkins were patrolling the Alleghany Station area in Kensington when they saw a pregnant woman unconscious.

Both officers responded and gave the woman Narcan after seeing she had overdosed. They had to administer the drug two times before she finally regained consciousness.

The woman is 7 months pregnant.

When she woke up, she refused the help of the Philadelphia Fire Department, and said she did not want to go to the hospital. She got up and left, but it would not be the last time the officers saw the woman that day.

45 minutes later, the officers continued to patrol the area and found the woman unconscious again, lying on the sidewalk. This time the officers got help and she was transported to the hospital.

SEPTA Police LT. Michael Fox said it is heartbreaking to see this happen.
