Two people suspected of killing an 81-year-old Maryland woman have been arrested in Arizona, according to police.
Crystal Dawn Stanley and Jerry Wayne Smith Jr. were arrested Sunday in Kingman, Arizona, after an Arizona State Trooper ran a registration check of the vehicle the pair were driving in and realized they were wanted.
Margaret Rose McAllister's family found the 81-year-old's body inside her home in Hancock in Western Maryland on May 20.
Stanley and Smith are being held in an Arizona jail pending extradition to Maryland. They are facing first-degree murder charges.
