Cumberland Man Charged with Hunting Violations

CUMBERLAND, Md. (AP) -- Maryland Natural Resources Police have charged a Cumberland man with illegal killing and possessing wildlife and fisheries resources.

Fifty-four-year-old Dennis George Bittinger was arrested Feb. 4. He was freed on his own recognizance.

Bittinger was charged with numerous offenses, including exceeding white-tail deer bag limits; hunting without a license; possessing of turkey closed season; and exceeding the trout possession limit by 40 fish.
