Police are investigating a hate incident that happened at a fraternity house at the University of Maryland.
On April 27 between 1:30 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. a noose was found at a fraternity house located at 5 Fraternity Row.
University President Wallace Loh called the incident despicable. “I resolutely condemn the use of a symbol of violence and hatred for the purpose of intimidating members of our University of Maryland community,” he said in a statement.
