Two teens face rape charges, accused of sexually assaulting a female classmate inside Rockville High School on Thursday.
Police arrested 17-year-old Jose O. Montano and 18-year-old Henry Sanchez, charging both as adults.
Investigators say the rape happened at the school during school hours. The victim was walking in a school hallway around 9:00 a.m. when she met Montano and Sanchez. According to her, Montano asked her to have sex with him and Sanchez. She refused. Montano asked her again, then forced her into a boy's bathroom and then into a stall where both he and Sanchez raped her.
After concluding their investigation, officers arrested Montano and Sanchez on school property. The pair are charged with first -degree rape and two counts of first-degree sexual offense.
