Missing UMD Student seen entering a Greyhound bus in Baltimore

Kaitlyn George, 21, a University of Maryland student was reported missing by university police Thursday, Nov. 10

She was scheduled to meet a friend at the Eppley Recreation Center. When she didn't show up, her friend reported her missing.

A witness reported seeing George enter a Charm City Circulator bus on Nov. 11 at approximately 8:40 a.m. Just three hours later, she was seen on security video entering the Baltimore Greyhound bus station.

According to investigators, George purchased a ticket at 1:33 p.m. She then boarded a bus headed to Norfolk, Virginia. The bus was scheduled to stop at Union Station in D.C., Richmond, and Hampton.

Investigators are continuing to follow up on leads. Police have no reason to suspect foul play. Anyone with information is asked to call the University of Maryland Police Department at 301-405-3555.
