It's all hands on deck as many make their way to Florida to help the communities most impacted by Hurricane Michael.

Thousands of law enforcement officers, firefighters, power crews, national guard troops, and volunteers are their, helping those affected by the monster category four storm.

Helicopters have been dropping food and water in remote areas while distribution centers are handing out bottled water and ready to eat meals.

On Sunday, WMAR-2 caught up with Naila Mohamed, a volunteer with the Red Cross from here in Maryland. Mohamed will be heading to Tallahassee, Florida, in what will be her fourth deployment to a weather related natural disaster.

Mohamed says right now in Florida, there are a lot of hurricane victims that need to be fed;

"There is a lot of damage out there, there is a lot of places with power outages. Right now in Tallahassee and beyond by Panama City and Mexico City there is a lot of shelters open... in Tallahassee alone there are more than 12 shelters open with a lot of clients in them that need to be served for feeding, mental health, for disaster health and all these activities."

President trump is expected to visit Florida tomorrow.
