Another contender is entering the race to be Maryland's next Governor. State Senator Richard Madaleno Jr. plans to announce his campaign Monday.
The Montgomery County democrat says he believes Maryland needs an "optimistic vision for rebuilding" the state. He has been a senator since 2007, and before that he served a term in the House of Delegates.
Madaleno Jr. will announce he's entering the gubernatorial race at 11 a.m. Monday at The Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville.
