Maryland ranked 8th most stressed state in the U.S.

MARYLAND - Between long hours at work, sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic and struggling to pay the bills - we're all a little stressed out.

It turns out that here in Maryland, we have a right to be.

According to the real estate blog movoto.com Maryland is the 8th most stressed state in the country.

The study looked at a number of factors including the number of hours worked per week, the amount of income spent on housing and the length of your commute.

For the most part, Maryland didn't do too badly, but we took the top spot in commute time with nearly 70 percent of people spending more than 20 minutes getting to work.

Florida was ranked as the most stressed state with North Dakota at the other end of the scale as the least stressed.
