The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency reported that the state's four casinos generated $65 million in revenue in December.
Hollywood casino Perryville generated almost $6.5 million from slot machines and table games. The Casino at Ocean Downs brought in more than $3.3 million from their slots. Rocky Gap Casino resort brought in $2.6 million.
The biggest amount came from Maryland Live! Casino in Anne Arundel County with $52 million from slots and table games.
Maryland will soon be home to six casinos with the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore under construction while a $900 million complex from MGM was recently approved by state gaming officials
