A Berlin man suffered life-threatening injuries after he jumped from an anchored boat near Ocean City Inlet early Monday morning.
Richard Wade Tesar, 30, was aboard a 22 ft. boat with six other people when he decided to jump off. He lost his footing, fell and broke his neck, according to Maryland Natural Resources Police.

Police were called shortly after 1 a.m. Tesar was flown to University of Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment.
The incident is under investigation.
