Maryland honored drunk driving victims in the 13th annual Maryland Remembers event Thursday.

Families who’ve lost loved ones to drunk driving attended the annual gathering, along with transportation, law enforcement and government officials.

The state also unveiled its new mobile breath testing truck Thursday following the passing of Noah’s Law back in May. The law took effect on Oct.1 and requires stricter penalties for drunk driving offenders, including ignition interlock devices installed in cars for six months.

Noah Leotta, a Montgomery County police officer, was hit and killed by a drunk driver last December. His father is expected to attend Thursday’s remembrance.
