Lawmakers fighting for stricter cell phone laws

Under the current law-- you can only get pulled over for talking on the phone if you're doing something else illegal, for example speeding. 

But state leaders are looking to make it a primary offense. 
 
Last year, a bill passed making texting and driving a primary offense.
