One of the candidates running to be Maryland's next governor is outlining a plan to address sexual harassment in government, businesses, and schools.

Part of Krish Vignarajah's proposal includes creating the state's first Office of Sexual Harassment and Violence. There would be four components of the office.

It would incentivize companies to audit sexual harassment among its employees, create a hotline for victims, conduct a state government-wide sexual harassment audit, and help law enforcement end the rape kit backlog.

Vignarajah says she is a survivor of sexual assault and said the courage of others who came forward during the social media campaign "me too" inspired her to act.
