ANNAPOLIS, Md - Funeral services have been scheduled for a Maryland Marine who was one of seven people killed Monday when a mortar shell exploded during a training exercise in Nevada.
A viewing for 21-year-old Lance Cpl. William Taylor Wild IV will be held Thursday at Barranco & Sons Funeral Home in Severna Park.
The viewing starts at 2 pm.
His funeral service will be held Friday at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Annapolis.
Wild will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery on April 2.
Wild grew up in the Whitehurst community.
He went to Severna Park High, where he pitched for a state baseball championship in 2009.
He enlisted after graduation and served in Afghanistan in 2011.
