SILVER SPRING, Md - Children of illegal immigrants are hoping Maryland voters approve a measure in November that would allow them the chance for a higher education and they rallied for their position.
Those in favor of the Dream Act came out to rally support in Silver Spring Sunday. The Dream Act allows undocumented immigrant students go to college and pay in-state tuition. Some say it's not fair but students say it's their only chance of going to school.
To qualify parents of these students must be paying taxes and their children must have attended a Maryland high school for three years.
